Rockville RXD-M4 1500W Monoblock Amp Dyno Test

  • Quick test of the M4 at 1 ohm, all modes on the Amp Dyno, plus a little treat at the end. I bought this amp, was NOT sent the amp from the manufacturer. Please help me pay for testing this amp by sharing this video with all of your friends!

Amp is rated 1500W "CEA" at 1 ohm, 3000W "RMS" or 6000W "Max". Let's see what it REALLY does at 1 ohm, all modes on the Amp Dyno.
Certified - Measures Output RMS wattage to 1% THD
Uncertified: Measures Output RMS wattage to clipping
Dynamic: Measures burst output RMS wattage to clipping
Cert form with the amp says 1512W at 1 ohm CEA Certified. It does not mention the frequency used, most likely 100Hz. My tests are at 40Hz, a more difficult frequency, most likely resulting in the lower measurement at 1 ohm certified.
Amp was warmed up using music, gain overlap was set to 10dB as recommended by D'Amore Engineering. 320A variable voltage custom power supply used as power source. 1/0ga OFC wire from power supply to distro block, then 2ft of 4GA OFC power wire for amp input.
