In this video i tested an oldschool Power 500.2 made by Rockford Fosgate. The amplifier has been tested for continuous power and dynamic power with 1kHz burst signals which have a higher crest factor. pure sinewave has a crest factor of 3dB , the dynamic power tests have a crest factor around 12dB which comes close to music. I also demonstrate the power consumption of the amp during continuous power test and compare it to the power consumption when the amp is tested with a dynamic signal. Now you get why your amp fuse will not blow easily. This test is not as detailed like the other tests i made so far because i tested several very similar amps in the past.
